BUMA – mobile facade handovers and inspections

BUMA AS has been carrying out projects in Norway for years related to cleaning, painting and renovating facades, as well as flooring installation. We work on single-family and multi-family buildings as well as industrial facilities. We operate in many locations at the same time, often under time pressure and with high investor expectations – especially regarding aesthetics and quality of workmanship – and in this everyday reality Hustro has proven to be a very well‑suited tool.

We have been using the application since October 2024, mainly for photo documentation and inspections, where it makes our daily work control easier and allows us to react quickly to typical defects – unpainted areas, incorrectly installed elements or dirt. Instead of passing comments verbally or over the phone, a single report in the app is enough. Everything is described, photographed and assigned to a specific location – and I can be sure that the issue will be addressed and resolved.

As a project leader, I visit several construction sites a day – Hustro allows me to maintain control over progress and quality, even if I am not physically on site all the time. Thanks to the mobile version, I can submit comments from my phone and quickly prepare complete reports. These documents are clear, concise and professional, which is very important in relations with Norwegian investors who expect full transparency.

Everyone in our five-person team uses the application, and we all agree that it provides real support in our daily work. Since we implemented Hustro, handovers have gone more smoothly and the number of corrections has visibly decreased. Recently, we also started using the task planning feature – it is new, but we can already see that it works well and helps with organization.
