ABOUT HUSTRO
We started on construction sites.
We're still solving the same problems.
Hustro is a Polish construction technology company founded in 2018 in Wrocław. We build software that helps construction companies, property developers, shipyards and industrial operators manage quality, health & safety and documentation – digitally, from mobile, without paper. Hustro is used by 65+ organisations across 8 countries.
From a construction site problem
to a platform used in 8 countries
The problem we couldn't ignore
Hustro was born on a construction site, not in a boardroom. Our founders — Adam Subotkowski, Andrzej Bogatko and Ernest Szydelski — spent years working on complex construction projects in Poland. They saw the same problems everywhere: defects tracked in Excel, inspections on paper, WhatsApp replacing proper communication, and hours wasted every week generating reports manually. In 2018, they started building a solution.
Hustro is incorporated – and backed by its first investor
Hustro sp. z o.o. is formally established in Wrocław, Poland. The same year, Shibumi International — a fund specialising in construction technology — invests in Hustro, becoming the company's first institutional backer. The investment validates the product direction and accelerates development.
First pilots – and a second investor
Hustro is deployed in its first major pilot with Gulermak during the construction of the Warsaw Metro — one of the most complex infrastructure projects in Poland at the time. The pilot proves the platform works at scale, in demanding conditions, with large teams of subcontractors. In the same year, Polish venture fund Value Tech invests in Hustro, supporting the company's growth in the Polish market.
Top 10 in Europe – and accepted into Flat6Labs
Hustro is recognised as one of the Top 10 Construction Tech Startups in Europe by Construction Tech Review. The same year, Hustro is selected for the Flat6Labs accelerator programme — one of just 10 companies accepted from over 500 applications. Flat6Labs invests in Hustro and provides access to its global network of mentors, investors and corporate partners.
International expansion across Europe and the Middle East
Hustro expands beyond Poland into Germany, Norway, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. The platform is adopted by construction companies, property developers, H&S consultancies, installation contractors and property managers. The client base grows to 65+ organisations across 8 countries, with Hustro active on over 1,000 construction sites and industrial facilities.
First shipyard deployments – a new industry adopts Hustro
2025 marks Hustro's entry into the shipbuilding sector. The platform is deployed at CRIST Shipyard in Gdynia — one of Poland's largest shipyards, specialising in offshore vessels and specialist ships. H&S managers at shipyards face the same challenges as construction sites: multiple subcontractors, complex environments and strict compliance requirements. Hustro handles all of it from mobile, online and offline.
The built world deserves better tools than paper and Excel.
Most construction management still happens on paper, in WhatsApp groups and in spreadsheets. We're changing that - one site at a time. Our goal is simple: give every construction team the digital tools they need to build faster, safer and with less waste.
Hustro works offline, on any mobile device, in any conditions - from residential developments to offshore shipyards. If it doesn't work without Wi-Fi in a basement, it's not built for construction.
We believe software should adapt to how construction teams work - not the other way around. Most clients are up and running the same day, without an IT project or a lengthy onboarding programme.
Developers, general contractors, subcontractors, H&S consultants, property managers and shipyard operators - all using the same platform. No more information silos between parties on the same project.
Every defect timestamped. Every inspection documented. Every deadline tracked. Hustro creates an irrefutable audit trail that protects all parties - in disputes, in audits and in court.
Three co-founders,
still hands-on since day one.
Ernest started his career as a lawyer, where he repeatedly encountered the same problem: construction defects that were poorly documented, disputed and ended up in court. He saw first-hand how much damage a missing photo or an unsigned protocol could cause. That observation became the seed of Hustro. Before co-founding the company, he worked at VR Global - a proptech studio building virtual and augmented reality solutions for the real estate industry — where he led sales.
LinkedIn
Andrzej spent years designing digital products - first at Divante, one of Poland's leading e-commerce agencies, where he worked on platforms for the construction and building materials sector. He later joined VR Global, designing applications for real estate presentations in VR and AR. At Hustro, he brought that product design background into an industry that had never seen software built with the same care for user experience.
LinkedIn
Adam has spent his career building software - across various companies in software development before joining VR Global, where he programmed and tested virtual and augmented reality applications for real estate. At Hustro, he leads the engineering of a platform that has to work reliably offline, on mobile, on construction sites and in shipyards - environments where most software simply fails.
