Challenges and problems to solve

One of the main challenges was scattered documentation, which made it difficult to access and update information quickly. Communication based primarily on email was time-consuming and inefficient, leading to delays in decision-making and implementing corrections. In addition, the complexity of managing a large volume of files and defects resulted in information chaos, which had a negative impact on the quality of project delivery.

Benefits of implementing construction management software

Implementing the Hustro app brought a range of benefits for both PTB Nickel and Josera Pet Food. Above all, the app enabled fast defect reporting, significantly speeding up the inspection and handover process. Thanks to the defect logging feature – with a minimum time of just 5 seconds (average 22.5 seconds) – workers could immediately mark the location of an issue, attach photos and videos, and delegate tasks to subcontractors. This simplified and accelerated the flow of information, which is essential in a fast-moving construction environment.

By centralising documentation in one place, all decisions and information were easily accessible to every party involved in the project. Fast communication with subcontractors and other stakeholders became possible thanks to the integrated system, which improved collaboration efficiency. The Hustro app also enabled real-time documentation updates, reducing the risk of errors and misunderstandings.

Both PTB Nickel and Josera gained a tool that not only improved work organisation but also raised the quality of project delivery. Implementing the Hustro app during the construction of the Josera factory was a key step towards greater efficiency and better project management quality, delivering tangible benefits for both companies.

The Hustro app has become a key tool for us, enabling better work organisation and improved efficiency across the entire project.

  • Establishing collaboration guidelines within the system between the Josera and PTB Nickel teams.

  • Software configuration – adapting the app to the team’s needs and uploading documentation.

  • Team training on using the software – on-site training with comprehensive support covering everything from installing the app on phones to platform management.

  • Ongoing support for new team members – regular training and technical support to facilitate the integration of new team members and get them up to speed with the app quickly.

Summary

Implementing the Hustro app during the construction of the Josera Pet Food production facility in Paprocin significantly changed the way the project was managed, delivering tangible benefits for both PTB Nickel and Josera. Through centralised documentation, fast defect reporting, and efficient communication, both companies gained a tool that substantially improved work organisation and the quality of project delivery.

The partnership between Josera and PTB Nickel, supported by modern technology, contributed to a smoother construction process – as confirmed by the positive experience of both parties. This collaboration demonstrates how innovative solutions can support efficiency and transparency in the construction industry.
